Matt Lehman is a member of the Republican Party and represents District 79 in the Indiana House of Representatives. He assumed office in 2008 and his current term ends on November 6, 2024. He ran for re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives to represent District 79 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

In his private life, Matt Lehman is part owner of a successful insurance business. He is married to Joye (Dubach) Lehman and they have three children, Kara, Kristen, and Kelli. He brings years of experience and expertise to the House of Representatives in the area of insurance.

Matt Lehman was elected in 1994 to the Adams County Council, serving as President of the Council from 2000 to 2008.
