Matt Hostettler is a member of the Republican Party and represents District 64 in the Indiana House of Representatives. He assumed office on November 7, 2018, and his current term ends on November 6, 2024. He ran for re-election to the Indiana House of Representatives to represent District 64 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Matt Hostettler was born and raised in southwest Indiana and graduated from North Posey High School. He subsequently earned a bachelor’s of science in management from Purdue University. In his career, Hostettler served as a crude oil gauger and pipeline operator for CountryMark Refining and Logistics.

In terms of his political career, Matt Hostettler has been assigned to various committees during his tenure. These include the House Natural Resources Committee, Employment, Labor and Pensions Committee, Public Health Committee, Government and Regulatory Reform Committee, House Local Government Committee, and House Public Policy Committee.
