Mark Zatezalo, born March 16, 1952, is an American politician affiliated with the Republican Party. He serves as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 2. He assumed office on December 1, 2022.

Biography

Mark Zatezalo, a hydrogeologist, was born on March 16, 1952, in Steubenville, Ohio. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from West Virginia University in 1974 and later completed his Master’s degree in Geology at the University of Missouri, Colombia, in 1977. Mark has been actively involved in West Virginia politics, having been elected to the West Virginia House of Delegates in 2014, 2016, and 2020. His legislative service includes serving as Vice Chair of the Committee on Energy during the 83rd Legislature. Mark Zatezalo is an Orthodox Christian (Serbian) and resides in Hancock, West Virginia, with his wife, Martha. They have two adult daughters, Jennifer and Danica.
