Born in Amelia County, Virginia, in 1974, Luther Cifers grew up in a rural farming community where he developed a strong work ethic and conservative values. Homeschooled from the third grade, he began working on farms and in construction at a young age. His entrepreneurial spirit emerged early, and he later built a successful career in manufacturing and business innovation.

Cifers founded YakAttack in 2009, a company specializing in kayak fishing accessories, which quickly became an industry leader. He also owned and operated Bonafide Kayaks, MITUSA Manufacturing, and other small businesses, showcasing his knack for solving problems and creating opportunities for his employees. His ventures have consistently focused on disruptive innovation and addressing consumer needs.

In addition to his business achievements, Cifers has been dedicated to community service and advocating for practical solutions to societal challenges. His priorities as a state senator include improving home affordability, reducing government intrusion, preserving individual liberties, and promoting fiscal responsibility.
