Lucas Atkinson (born July 6, 1981) is an American politician. He represents the 57th District in the South Carolina House of Representatives and has been in office since 2016. Atkinson is a member of the Democratic Party. He attended Clemson University, graduating in 2004, and currently works as a consultant.

Electoral History:

  • In 2016, after incumbent representative J. Wayne George decided not to seek re-election, Atkinson ran for his seat in District 57. He won the Democratic primary and the general election.
  • In 2018, Atkinson was unopposed in both the Democratic primary and general election.
  • In 2020, he secured a third term by winning the Democratic primary and running unopposed in the general election.
