Lisa’s journey into public service is deeply rooted in her commitment to education and environmental stewardship. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University in 1990 and later pursued a graduate degree at Oregon State University in 2001. Her academic background laid the foundation for a career dedicated to making a difference in her community.

Before stepping into the political arena, Lisa worked extensively in education. She served as an educator in public K-12 schools and also contributed to higher education as part of the College of Education at Pacific University.
