Biography

State Senator Kyle Walker joined the Senate in 2020 representing Senate District 31, which includes portions of Hamilton and Marion counties. Walker serves as ranking member of the Senate Committee on Public Policy and as a member of the Senate Committees on Insurance and Financial Institutions, as well as Tax and Fiscal Policy.

As a Lawrence North High School and Indiana Wesleyan University graduate, Walker has continued to give back to his community in various forms of public service. He has served on the Lawrence City Council, as president of the Fort Harrison Reuse Authority, deputy director of the Indianapolis Department of Public Works, and chairman of the Marion County Republican Party.

Walker currently serves as the Republican chair of the 7th Congressional District, as well as a member of the Central Indiana Police Foundation, Amos Butler Audubon Society, Fifty Club of Fishers, Mud Creek Conservancy, and Sons of the American Legion, Post 391.

Professionally, Walker is executive vice president of MO Strategies, Inc., and owner of Kyle Walker Consulting, LLC. Kyle lives in the City of Lawrence with his wife, Jennifer, and has two sons, Chase and Cameron.
