Biography

Kristin Robbins is a member of the Republican Party and is currently serving in the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 37A. She assumed office on January 3, 2023, and her current term ends on January 7, 2025.

Robbins was born in Crookston, Minnesota, and currently resides in Maple Grove. She earned a B.A. in economics and political science from Bethel University in 1990 and an M.A. in economics from Washington University.

Before her political career, Robbins worked as a founding executive director of the Economic Club of Minnesota. She has also served as the legislative director for U.S. Representative Harris Fawell and a deputy chair of the Senate District 34 Republicans.

In the Minnesota House of Representatives, Robbins has served as an assistant minority leader since 2023. She sits on several committees, including the Higher Education Finance and Policy Committee, Rules and Legislative Administration Committee, and Taxes Committee.

Robbins has been elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives every two years since 2018. In the general election on November 8, 2022, she won re-election to represent District 37A.

Robbins and her husband, Brent, have three children. She continues to be an active member of her community and strives to represent the interests of her constituents in the Minnesota House of Representatives.
