Biography

Kevin Winter represents the towns of Ludlow, Mount Holly, and Shrewsbury, VT. Born in St. Louis, MO, he is oldest of four children. Being a “jack of all sports, except basketball” and having a part time job through High School, Kevin enjoyed his teenage years. He received a BS in Engineering from Alfred University, which launched a 45-year career in corporate manufacturing and sales management (GE, UTC, Teco-Westinghouse). Kevin experienced exhilarating success but also life’s challenges, including “lack of work” AND the rehabilitation of two sons addicted to opioids—now free by God’s grace and functioning as productive loving husbands! He has been a Ludlow resident for 25 years and is retired at age 69. Kevin is happily married 41 years with three successful married children and seven grandchildren. Having been on a New York state school board for 11 years, while his kids were young, he is now an Elder in his local church for 20+ years and wants to continue serving his local and state community.
