Representative Ken Fredette of Newport is serving his fifth non-consecutive term in the Maine Legislature, representing District 33. Ken previously served as the House Republican Leader, where he played a key role in shaping legislative priorities and advocating for the needs of his constituents.
In addition to his legislative work, Ken is a Colonel in the Maine Air National Guard, bringing a wealth of leadership experience and dedication to public service. He holds a Master’s degree from Harvard University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Maine School of Law. As a practicing attorney, Ken combines his legal expertise with his passion for serving Maine families.
Ken is married to Jennifer O’Leary, and has a step-daughter, and two other children, Morgan Roy and Colby Fredette. He is committed to balancing his work in the legislature with his family life and continuing to serve both his community and his country.
