Keith Jackson, born on October 1, 1978, in Meridian, Mississippi, is a member of the Democratic Party and currently serves as a representative in the Mississippi House of Representatives for District 45. He assumed office on January 2, 2024, succeeding Michael Evans.

Jackson ran for election to represent District 45 in the Mississippi House of Representatives and emerged victorious in the general election held on November 7, 2023. In the Democratic primary for Mississippi House of Representatives District 45 held on August 8, 2023, Jackson defeated Kenny Rush, securing 55.1% of the votes.

In the general election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 45, Jackson defeated Michael Cassidy and Trent Rickles. He secured 55.6% of the votes, amounting to 3,723 votes. Michael Cassidy, the Republican candidate, secured 37.6% of the votes, amounting to 2,515 votes. Trent Rickles, an independent candidate, secured 6.8% of the votes, amounting to 457 votes.

Jackson’s current term in office is set to end on January 4, 2028. Apart from his political career, Jackson is also a member of the Cattleman Association and the NAACP. In March 2023, Jackson was indicted for using stolen property after using a stolen log trailer as part of his business.
