Representative Walters is a mother of four who believes that good policy begins by listening and working together. Rep Walters is someone who rolls up her sleeves and gets things done for people who live in West Linn, Tualatin, and across Oregon. Rep Walters started in the legislature in 2023 after serving as mayor of West Linn, a community of over 30,000 people.

As a mom, Walters understands firsthand the challenges of balancing work, family, and finances. She’s dedicated to making Oregon more affordable and accessible for future generations. Her own experiences navigating childcare barriers have only strengthened her resolve to break down those obstacles for others.

Whether it’s advocating for better childcare options or ensuring that tax dollars are used effectively, Walters is always working hard to make Oregon a place where everyone can live and thrive without breaking the bank.

Walters currently serves as Co-Vice Chair of the House Committee On Revenue and the Joint Committee On Tax Expenditures.
