Biography

Jonathan Dixon is an American businessman and politician serving as a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives from the 11th district. He was first elected in November 2020, defeating Democratic incumbent Rob Wiederstein. He assumed office on January 1, 2021.

Dixon graduated from Henderson County High School in 1999. Outside of politics, Dixon owns a fence company. His career experience includes working as the president and owner of Fence Pros.

In his tenure, Dixon has been assigned to various committees including the House Agriculture Committee, Licensing, Occupations, and Administrative Regulations Committee, House Local Government Committee, and House Transportation Committee. He has also served as the Vice Chair of the Local Government Committee and Transportation Committee.

Dixon ran for re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives to represent District 11 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. However, on December 20, 2023, Dixon announced he would not seek re-election to the Kentucky House of Representatives District 11. His current term ends on January 1, 2025.
