John W. Hines, Sr. is a distinguished member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 50. He is a member of the Democratic Party and has been serving in office since 2001. His current term is set to end on January 4, 2028.
Born on April 6, 1966, in Greenville, Mississippi, Hines has dedicated his life to public service. Apart from his political career, he has professional experience as an insurance agent and investigator for McTeer Associates.

Hines ran for re-election to the Mississippi House of Representatives to represent District 50 and won in the general election on November 7, 2023. He continues to serve his constituents with dedication and integrity.
