John Francis Collin (born April 30, 1802) was a 19th-century American politician who represented the state of New York in the United States Congress. A member of the Democratic Party, he served a single term in the U.S. House of Representatives as the representative for New York’s 11th Congressional District.
Collin’s congressional service began on December 1, 1845, and concluded on March 3, 1847. During this period, he held the role of Representative in the national legislature, participating in the work of the House as a historical member of Congress from New York. His tenure in office encompassed one full term, after which he left Congress and is recorded as a former officeholder.
