JOHN ARRISON, Weathersfield/ Cavendish, seat 32, residence Weathersfield. Married to Patti Arrison, professor at Norwich University. One daughter, Cecelia, who lives in Portsmouth, NH. Occupation: Owner and president of Watts Up Electric Inc., electrical contractor specializing in water and wastewater work. Master electrician since 1976, with fire alarm endorsement. Born and lived in Chester, VT, until 1985. Attended Chester High School and was student leader in forming Green Mountain Union High. Attended UVM, majoring in electrical engineering. Graduated Radio Electronic Training School in Boston, MA. Appointed by Governor Scott to represent Vermont on the Connecticut Flood Control Compact board. Member Weathersfield Selectboard 16 years, Justice of the Peace, and Weigher of Coal. Serves on the board of directors of Friends of the Meeting House. Formerly on board of directors Weathersfield Historical Society and Springfield Area Public Access TV. Volunteer firefighter, retired, 30 years with rank of Deputy Chief. Licensed fireworks operator in New Hampshire, also lead pyrotechnician for North Star Fireworks, E. Montpelier, VT. Active member, 45 years, and past president of the Vermont Hang Gliding Association.
