John K. Arch, born on October 6, 1955, in Sioux City, Iowa, is a dedicated and influential politician in the U.S. state of Nebraska. He has been serving in the Nebraska Legislature from the 14th district since 2019.

Arch’s journey in education began in Sioux City, where he graduated from Sioux City North High School in 1973. He then pursued higher education at Grace University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1977. His thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there. He went on to earn a Master of Arts degree from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary in 1980. In 1987, he achieved an MBA from the University of Nebraska, Omaha.

In 2018, Arch was elected to the Nebraska Legislature to represent Nebraska’s 14th legislative district. His commitment to public service and his constituents is evident in his active participation on various committees. He serves on the Health and Human Services Committee, the Urban Affairs Committee, and the General Affairs Committee.

In the early part of 2023, Arch’s legislative peers unanimously chose him as the Speaker of the Nebraska Legislature. This role further solidified his influence and leadership within the legislature.
