Biography

Joe Alfieri is a representative of the Idaho House of Representatives, serving District 4A. He is a member of the Republican Party and assumed office on December 1, 2022. His current term ends on December 1, 2024.

Alfieri is an entrepreneur and businessman. He opened the first retail computer store in New York City in 1980, selling Apple IIs to the New York Times, Newsweek, and others. After selling the business, he served as a typography director for a large advertising agency with major accounts such as Mercedes-Benz. He later started a boutique ad agency in California serving the Apple computer peripheral market.

In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Alfieri has also been involved in academia. He studied website design and became a corporate trainer. His career experience includes working as a client relations manager with Express Employment Professionals, a consultant with Hogan Marketing & Media, and an internet sales manager with Jenson Motor Center.

Alfieri moved to Coeur d’Alene and served as a business developer for a local company. He is actively involved in the chamber of commerce and the CDA Economic Development Committee. His legislative duties include serving on the Judiciary, Rules & Administration, and Local Government State Affairs Committees.

In the 2022 elections, Alfieri ran for election to the Idaho House of Representatives to represent District 4A. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022, defeating Megan Dardis-Kunz. His base salary as a legislator is $19,913/year. The per diem varies depending on the distance of the legislator’s residence from the capitol.
