Jesse Olds Norton (born December 25, 1812) was a United States Representative from Illinois who served during the mid-nineteenth century. A member of the Republican Party, he represented Illinois’s 6th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. His tenure in Congress began on December 5, 1853, and concluded on March 3, 1865, spanning three terms in office.

Norton served as a historical member of Congress during a period that encompassed the years 1853 to 1865, a time of profound national change and conflict.
