James Wolcott Wadsworth (born October 12, 1846) was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from New York. He represented New York’s 34th Congressional District and served as a historical member of Congress during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His congressional career began on December 5, 1881, and continued until March 3, 1907.
Wadsworth served a total of 10 terms in the House of Representatives. Throughout this period, he held office as a Republican representative for New York, maintaining his seat in the 34th District for over twenty-five years.
