Jack Bascom Brooks (born December 18, 1922) was a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from Texas. He represented Texas’s 9th Congressional District and served as a representative from January 3, 1953, to January 3, 1995. Over the course of his long tenure, Brooks completed 21 terms in the House, marking him as a long-serving historical member of Congress.
