Iris Rudder (born November 11, 1960) is an American politician and a member of the Republican Party. She represents District 39, which includes Moore County along with parts of Franklin and Marion Counties, in the Tennessee House of Representatives. Iris Rudder was elected on November 6, 2018, and has been in office since then.
Political Career:
- Rudder served as the past chairman of the Franklin County Republican Party from 2011 to 2015.
- She is currently the President of the Franklin County Republican Ladies, a position she has held since 2016.
- Rudder is also a founder of the Southern Tennessee Ladies Society.
- In 2018, she campaigned to become a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives and won the Republican Primary Election for District 39.
