Biography

Rep. George Nardone (R-Dist. 28, Coventry) was first elected to the House of Representatives in November 2018. He serves as the Deputy Minority Leader and is a member of the House Finance Committee, the House Labor Committee, and the House Oversight Committee.

Representative Nardone graduated from Scituate High School in 1982. He worked three years as a furniture upholsterer at the DJM Company in Pawtucket before currently owning and operating his own upholstery business, Castle Gate Inc. in North Kingstown. He is a member of the Coventry Republican Committee, the National Republican Committee, and Toast Masters International.

Born on June 13, 1964, Representative Nardone and his wife Dawn (Urquhart) are the parents of a daughter, Nicole. He is a life-long Rhode Island resident.​
