Evan Goyke, born on November 24, 1982, is an American lawyer, academic, and Democratic politician hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has made significant contributions both in the State Assembly and as the city attorney of Milwaukee.

  • Early Life and Education: Goyke was born in Neenah, Wisconsin, and is the son of former state senator Gary Goyke. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from St. John’s University and a Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School.

  • Political Career: Since 2013, Goyke has represented Wisconsin’s 18th Assembly district in the State Assembly. He has been re-elected five times in this district. Notably, in the 2024 Spring election, he secured victory as Milwaukee’s city attorney, defeating the incumbent Tearman Spencer. Goyke assumed office in April 2024.
