Emil Bergquist, born on December 16, 1955, is an American politician who is currently serving as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives from the 91st district. He assumed office on January 23, 2018.

Before entering politics, Bergquist had a career in the research and development department of Textron Aviation. His political career began in his local community, where he served as a member of the Park City City Council for 15 years, including a term as mayor of the city. He retired from the City Council in 2013, citing a desire to spend more time with his family.

In 2018, Bergquist was selected by the Sedgwick County Republican precinct committee to succeed Greg Lakin in the Kansas House of Representatives. He has been serving in this role since January 23, 2018.

Bergquist is a member of the Republican Party. He resides in Park City, Kansas, U.S. with his spouse Ralene. They have four children.
