Eddie J. Lambert is an American attorney and politician from the state of Louisiana. He is a member of the Republican Party. Lambert has been representing the 18th district in the Louisiana State Senate since 2016.

Before his tenure in the State Senate, Lambert served in the Louisiana House of Representatives for the 59th district from 2003 until 2016. His professional experience includes working as an attorney, and he also worked as an alligator hunter for the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.

Lambert’s political career began when he worked as an assistant district attorney from 1985 until 1990. He continues to work as a self-employed attorney in Gonzales. Lambert was unopposed for re-election in 2019; he has not faced an opponent from either party since his first election in 2003.

In the 2023-2024 legislative session, Lambert was assigned to the following committees: Agriculture, Forestry, Aquaculture, and Rural Development Committee; Environmental Quality Committee, Chairman; Natural Resources Committee; Revenue & Fiscal Affairs Committee; Joint Capital Outlay Committee.
