Donnie Bell, born on March 3, 1963, in Tupelo, Mississippi, is an American politician. He is a member of the Republican Party and has been serving as a representative of the 21st district in the Mississippi House of Representatives since 2008.

Before joining the Republican Party, Bell was a member of the Democratic Party. He switched his affiliation to the GOP following the 2011 election. His current term in office is set to end on January 4, 2028.

Bell earned his Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and also attended Itawamba Community College. His professional experience includes working as a teacher. He is also a member of the Farmhouse Fraternity.

Over the years, Bell has served on various committees in the Mississippi House of Representatives. These include the House Agriculture Committee, Banking and Financial Services Committee, Judiciary A Committee, Judiciary En Banc Committee, House Universities and Colleges Committee, Ways and Means Committee, and Workforce Development Committee, where he served as Chair.

In the general election held on November 7, 2023, Bell ran for re-election to the Mississippi House of Representatives to represent District 21 and won.

Bell is married to Nelda Higginbotham and they reside in Fulton, Mississippi.
