Donald E. Burkhart Jr. (born September 4, 1948) is an American politician and a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives. He has served as a state representative since 2011 and acted as Wyoming’s House Speaker Pro Tempore from 2017 to 2018. Burkhart earned his B.S. in Physics from John Carroll University and worked as a safety engineer. In the 2010 and 2012 elections, he secured victories against incumbent Democratic Representative George Bagby. His current term ends on January 6, 2025.
