Representative Dean Cray of Palmyra is presently in his fifth term, non-consecutively, in the Maine House, representing District 69, which encompasses the towns of Canaan, Detroit, Palmyra, Hartland, and St. Albans. His extensive legislative experience includes five terms on the Joint Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry, along with contributions to the Energy, Utilities, and Technology Committee.

Throughout his professional journey, Rep. Cray has served as a transportation director and established himself as a successful farmer. Additionally, he actively participates in his local community as a member of the Free Masons.

Dean, alongside his wife Darlene, is a proud parent of two children, Jacob and Deanne. During his leisure time, he indulges in outdoor pursuits, with a particular passion for hunting and fishing. His commitment to public service and diverse interests reflects a life dedicated to both legislative responsibilities and the well-being of his community.
