David Walker is a Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He represents Strafford County’s District 19. Walker assumed office on December 4, 2024, and his current term is set to end on December 2, 2026.
David Walker has had a long and distinguished career, both in public service and in his professional life. Before joining the New Hampshire House of Representatives, he worked as an aircraft engineer, dedicating 36 years to Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. His technical expertise and problem-solving skills have been assets in his legislative work, particularly in areas requiring a deep understanding of engineering and infrastructure.
Walker has also been deeply involved in local government. He served as the Mayor of Rochester from 2004 to 2005 and has been a City Councilor in Rochester since 1996. Additionally, he has spent 15 years on the Rochester Planning Board, where he contributed to shaping the city’s development and growth.
Beyond his professional and political achievements, Walker is a family man. He has been married for over 40 years and is the proud father of four grown children and grandfather to three.
