David M. Gallegos is an American politician serving as a member of the New Mexico Senate from the 41st district. He previously served in the New Mexico House of Representatives and was a member of the Eunice, New Mexico School Board for 21 years. Gallegos currently serves on the Senate Conservation Committee and the Senate Health and Public Affairs Committee.

Biography:

  • David Gallegos earned an associate degree from New Mexico Junior College and a B.A. from the College of the Southwest.
  • His career experience includes working as an area supervisor with the New Mexico Gas Company and as the senior superintendent with Ramirez & Son’s, a fifth-generation asphalt and dirt work company.
  • Gallegos is a Republican and has been involved in both state legislative and local school board positions.
