Biography

Daniel LeClerc is an American politician who serves as a Democratic member for the Hillsborough 34th district of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He was first elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives in 2022 and serves on the Labor, Industrial and Rehabilitative Services Committee. On February 22, 2024, LeClerc gave a speech opposing Right-to-Work.

LeClerc resides in Amherst, New Hampshire. He is married and has two children. He was born and raised in New Hampshire, most of his life in Manchester. He has been married to Francine for over 33 years and they have two sons, Joey and Michael, both of whom have graduated from the University of New Hampshire and are doing well in their respective careers.

After their sons left the nest, LeClerc and his wife decided to downsize and found the perfect home in the beautiful town of Amherst. LeClerc has been in the construction industry for the better part of 40 years, 27 of those in the Carpenters Union.

In Manchester, LeClerc served on the Planning Board for about six years, 1-1/2 of those as Chair. He currently serves on the Amherst Planning Board as an alternate. His career experience includes working in the construction industry. He has served as the chair of the Manchester Planning Board and an alternate on the Amherst Planning Board.
