Biography

Representative Craig A. Gagnon is a Republican representing the 11th District, which includes Abbeville, Anderson, and Laurens Counties. Born on August 2, 1960, in Lowell, Massachusetts, he attended Sherman College of Chiropractic and graduated in 1984. On April 15, 2010, he married Robin E. Johnson, and they have three children: Leah G., Anna E., and Joshua.

Apart from his legislative role, Representative Gagnon has been actively involved in his community. He served as the Chairman of the Abbeville County Republican Party from 1989 to 2012. Additionally, he is a deacon at the First Baptist Church in Abbeville.

Representative Gagnon has been serving in the South Carolina House of Representatives since 2013, advocating for his constituents and contributing to the legislative process.
