Craig Philip Blair, born October 17, 1959, is an American politician and a Republican member of the West Virginia Senate representing District 15 since January 12, 2013. Prior to his service in the Senate, Blair also held a seat in the West Virginia House of Delegates from January 2003 until January 2011, representing the District 52 seat.

Blair’s background extends beyond politics. He is a businessman and has expertise in various technical fields, including being a Master Electrician, Master Plumber, and Refrigeration Engineer. Additionally, he holds certifications as a Classified Certified Water Specialist (Class V).

As of January 2021, Blair serves as the President of the West Virginia Senate, a position that also carries the title of Lieutenant Governor of West Virginia. Notably, he is the father of former West Virginia Delegate Saira Blair.

In recent years, Blair has navigated both primary and general elections, securing his position in the state Senate. His commitment to public service and his diverse skill set continue to shape West Virginia’s legislative landscape.
