Clifford Newton, known as Cliff, is a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Strafford 6. He is a member of the Republican Party. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term ends on December 4, 2024.
Newton ran for re-election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Strafford 6. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022. Prior to this, he served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives Strafford 9. His predecessor was Steven Beaudoin and his successor was Brandon Phinney.
In terms of his political career, Newton has served on the Rochester Planning Board. He has been assigned to the Public Works and Highways Committee for the years 2021-2024.
In the last election, Newton defeated Kathleen Cavalaro in the general election for New Hampshire House of Representatives Strafford 6 on November 8, 2022. He secured 51.8% of the votes, amounting to 1,111 votes.
