Chuck Grassie is an American politician who serves as a Democratic member for the Strafford 8th of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He was originally elected to represent Strafford’s 11th district. However, after redistricting in 2022, Grassie ran for the 8th district. The election resulted in a tie, leading to a “redo” special election that was held on February 23, 2023, which Grassie won.

Grassie assumed office on March 8, 2023. His current term is set to end on December 4, 2024. Prior to his current position, Grassie served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives for the Strafford 11th district from 2016 to December 7, 2022.

In addition to his political career, Grassie has a rich background in community service and development. He lives in Rochester, New Hampshire, and holds a B.A. in Leadership and Management. His career experience includes working as a community planner, a zoning officer, and a development director. He has also served as a Rochester City Councilor and Planning Board Member.

Throughout his tenure, Grassie has been assigned to various committees. In the 2023-2024 term, he was assigned to the House Executive Departments and Administration Committee.
