Christopher Herbert is a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough 24. He is a member of the Democratic Party. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term ends on December 4, 2024. Herbert ran for re-election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Hillsborough 24 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Christopher Herbert’s career experience includes working as a print journalist, a stockbroker with Merrill Lynch, and the principal of an ad agency. He has also served as an Alderman and School Committee member. He identifies as a Progressive liberal with an interest in banking, economics, and national government finances.
Throughout his tenure, Herbert has been assigned to various committees. These include the Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee in 2023-2024, 2021-2022, and 2019-2020. At the beginning of the 2017 legislative session, he served on the Ways and Means committee. At the beginning of the 2015 legislative session, Herbert served on the Commerce and Consumer Affairs committee.
In addition to his political career, Herbert has a rich personal life. He is retired and has been married for 37 years to Julie Herbert. They have one daughter and one stepson.
