Biography

State Rep. Chris Jeter graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School before attending Oklahoma Baptist University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in communications, and The George Washington University, where he earned his Juris Doctorate.

After serving on active duty for seven years, Jeter is now a Navy Reserve Officer. He held several legal positions during his time in the service, including as a Special Assistant United States Attorney. He is currently a partner at a law firm in downtown Fishers, which he started in 2015 with two other attorneys.

Jeter and his wife, Karen, live in Fishers with their three children, Macy, Hayden and Kali. He is a member of Northview Church and active in the community, serving on the Fishers Economic Development Commission. Jeter is a member of the NRA, the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, Inc.
