Chris Corry is a Republican member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing District 15. He assumed office on January 13, 2025, and his current term is set to end on January 11, 2027.

Born in California in 1982, Chris Corry pursued his education at the University of Washington, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. It was during his time in Southern California that he met his wife, Jennica. The couple later moved to Yakima, Washington, Jennica’s hometown, seeking a better environment to raise their family. Together, they have four children.

Before entering politics, Corry built a career as a risk management advisor and worked in the insurance industry. His professional background provided him with insights into the challenges faced by businesses and individuals, which he carried into his legislative work. Corry’s decision to enter public service was driven by his passion for the state and national Constitutions and his commitment to serving the communities of Central Washington.

As a legislator, Chris Corry has focused on several key priorities, including protecting parental rights, ensuring a fully funded and effective K-12 education system, and supporting law enforcement with the tools needed to maintain public safety. He has also been an advocate for reducing taxes, curbing irresponsible budget growth, and fostering job creation by protecting businesses from excessive regulations. Additionally, Corry has championed reforms to balance emergency powers between the Executive and Legislative branches and has worked to improve Washington’s mental health system.
