Biography

Chloe Tomlinson has a background in community development, social work, and facilitation and has more than a decade’s worth of experience working for mission-driven organizations in Vermont and beyond. Chloe’s career started working in refugee resettlement, focused on housing and food security for recently arrived families. She worked internationally with UNICEF (the United Nations Children’s Fund) and Spark MicroGrants (an NGO). With these organizations, Chloe worked as a facilitator to support local communities and networks of organizations to set shared visions and make tangible plans to work towards their priorities. In 2020, she joined Bernie Sanders’ campaign, drawn by his platform of economic, environmental, and social justice. Currently, Chloe works at Front Porch Forum where she is privileged every day to support neighbors to connect and build community across Vermont. Chloe volunteers for a number of local organizations that do work she cares about, including Vermont Garden Network, Democracy Creative, and Local Motion. Chloe enjoys carpentry, biking, and gardening.
