Charles McMahon is an American politician who serves as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Rockingham 17. He is a member of the Republican Party.

McMahon assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term ends on December 4, 2024. He ran for re-election to the New Hampshire House of Representatives to represent Rockingham 17 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Born and raised in Salem, New Hampshire, McMahon graduated from Salem High School. He furthered his education at the University of New Hampshire, where he earned a B.A. in social work in 1977.

McMahon’s career experience is diverse and includes working in electronic sales and as a real estate agent. He also founded and ran his own company. His leadership skills are evident in his service on the Windham Board of Selectmen, where he also became chair of the Windham Housing Authority.

Throughout his tenure, McMahon has been assigned to several committees. These include the Children and Family Law Committee (2023-2024), Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs Committee (2021-2022), and others in previous legislative sessions.
