Cathryn Harvey
Cathryn Harvey is serving her fourth term as a Representative for Cheshire District 6, which includes Chesterfield, Hinsdale, and Westmoreland. She has held roles as both chair and ranking member of the Fish and Game Committee. A retired music teacher with 43 years of experience, Cathryn is a staunch supporter of public education.
Cathryn is also deeply involved in her community. She serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate Guardian ad Litem (CASA GAL), a church organist and choir director, and an administrative assistant for the Federated Church of Marlborough. Additionally, she ran her own quilting business, teaching classes, and custom designing quilts. During the summer of COVID, Cathryn transformed her garden into a wildlife corridor habitat garden following the Wildlife Federation’s guidelines.
Cathryn is the chair of the Chesterfield Library Board of Trustees and has held various other local government positions, including Cheshire County executive county delegate and vice-chair of the Cheshire County delegation.
