Biography

Murdock is a rancher from northwest Oklahoma where his family settled before statehood. He farms and runs a cow-calf operation in Felt in southwestern Cimarron County. He has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from Panhandle State University.

Murdock served in the House from 2014 - 2018 before being elected to the Senate. While in the House, he served as the Vice Chair of the Utilities Committee as well as on the Appropriations, Agriculture and Rural Development, A&B Transportation and the Transportation Committees.

Casey Murdock’s journey in public service began in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, where he served from 2014 to 2018. During his tenure in the House, he demonstrated a strong commitment to his constituents and a passion for addressing critical issues facing rural communities.
