Candy Spence Ezzell is a Republican member of the New Mexico State Senate, representing District 32. She assumed office on January 1, 2025, and her current term is set to end on December 31, 2028.

Born and raised in Artesia, New Mexico, Candy Spence Ezzell has dedicated her life to serving her community and state. Before her tenure in the State Senate, she served as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives for District 58 from 2005 to 2024. Her extensive experience in public service has made her a respected figure in New Mexico politics.

In addition to her political career, Ezzell is a rancher and the owner and operator of the 2 C Slash Ranch. Her deep connection to the agricultural community has shaped her legislative priorities, particularly in areas related to agriculture, water resources, and rural development. She has been an active member of various committees throughout her career, including the Agriculture & Water Resources Committee, where she has served as a ranking member.
