Brooke Green is a member of the Democratic Party and represents District 18B in the Idaho House of Representatives. She assumed office on December 1, 2018, and her current term ends on December 1, 2024. She ran for re-election to the Idaho House of Representatives to represent District 18B and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Born and raised in Los Alamos, New Mexico, Representative Green now resides in Boise, Idaho. She has an impressive educational background, having earned degrees in communication and marketing technology from Boise State University. She also holds a master’s degree in business administration from Northwest Nazarene University.

In her professional life, Representative Green has made significant contributions to her community. She has experience coordinating public transportation throughout a 10-county region in her role as a senior transportation planner. She has also served as the chair of the City of Boise Open Space and Clean Water advisory committee and was a board member of the Land Trust of Treasure Valley.

Representative Green’s dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed. She was recognized as one of Idaho Business Review’s 2014 Women of the Year honorees and was the recipient of the 2018 Woman of the Year award by the Idaho Chapter of Women in Transportation.

In terms of her legislative duties, Representative Green has been assigned to several committees. In the 2023-2024 term, she served on the Business Committee, House Health and Welfare Committee, Transportation and Defense Committee (as Vice Chair), Joint Millennium Fund Committee, and Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee.
