Biography

Brit McKenzie is an American politician who has been serving as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives since January 9, 2023. He represents Arkansas’ 7th House district. Before his political career, he worked as a Congressional staffer.

McKenzie was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Hampden–Sydney College in 2013. His career experience includes working as a brand manager with Walmart, a senior account manager with Saatchi and Saatchi X, and an account executive with VMLY&R (formerly Geometry Global).

He has been a life-long conservative Republican, and his life of public service began when he started his career as a Legislative Aide on Capitol Hill. He transitioned to working for the Republican Party of Virginia, the Republican National Committee and managing numerous campaigns for local, constitutional, and state-wide offices across the country.

In the 2022 Arkansas House of Representatives election, he was elected unopposed on November 8, 2022. He assumed office on January 9, 2023. McKenzie is a Roman Catholic. He is currently running for re-election to the Arkansas House of Representatives to represent District 7.
