State Sen. Brett Clark represents Senate District 24, which includes portions of Hendricks and Putnam counties. He was elected in 2024. Clark serves as a member on the Senate Committees on Agriculture, Corrections and Criminal Law, Judiciary, and Natural Resources. He grew up in North Salem, graduated from Tri-West High School and has lived in Indiana his entire life. Clark served in the United States Navy before serving more than 33 years at the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office. The last eight of those Clark served as the elected Sheriff. Professionally, Clark is a business developer and consultant for Garmong Construction Services as well as a national public safety advisor for OCV/LLC. Clark was also honored as a Sagamore of the Wabash in 2022. He is an Elder at the Danville Christian Church and has been a Republican precinct committeeman since 2002 Clark and his wife Karie reside in Avon. They have two adult sons and one grandchild
