Brandon Michael Newton (born July 29, 1994) is an American politician and a member of the Republican party. He represents the 45th District in the South Carolina House of Representatives, a position he has held since 2016. Notably, upon his election, Newton became the youngest member serving in the state’s House of Representatives.
Brandon’s journey from earning degrees in business and history at the University of South Carolina Lancaster to obtaining an MBA from Winthrop University reflects not only an academic pursuit but also a preparation for impactful public service. His leadership skills were evident early on when he served as student body president, laying the groundwork for his future in politics.
