Biography

Bob Keenan, a member of the Republican Party, is currently serving in the Montana House of Representatives, representing District 10. He assumed office on January 2, 2023, and his current term ends on January 6, 2025.

Keenan ran for election to the Montana House of Representatives to represent District 10 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022. Prior to this, Keenan served in the Montana Senate from 1999 to 2007 and from 2015 to 2023. During his time in the state Senate, he served as the state Senate president pro tempore.

Before his tenure in the Senate, Keenan served in the Montana House of Representatives from 1995 to 1999. His professional experience includes co-owning Bigfork Inn with his wife.

Over the years, Keenan has been assigned to various committees, including the Appropriations Committee (Vice Chair), Finance and Claims Committee, Fish and Game Committee, Senate Legislative Administration Committee (Chair), Public Health, Welfare and Safety Committee (Vice Chair), and Senate Rules Committee.
