Blas Jonathan Tenorio Attao, known as BJ, is an independent member of the Northern Mariana Islands House of Representatives from District 3. He was first elected as an independent in 2014 and took office on January 12, 2015, and has been reelected in every election since, running on the Republican ticket in 2018 and 2020. He served as Speaker of the House from 2019 to 2021 and then as Vice Speaker. Before his election he worked as a legislative assistant in the Legislative Bureau, and he attended Boise State University. He is an independent candidate for governor in the 2026 election, with Speaker Edmund Villagomez as his running mate.
